Goodbye, Props 👋

Open Props, Inc. recently announced that they would end the continuous offering of their Props Tokens at the end of the year.

As a Props partner and holder of Props Tokens, this means Paltalk — and all networks using the Props Protocol as a rewards program — will terminate those programs by the end of the year.

The good news is that we have been working on a brand new and improved Paltalk Rewards program to replace Props rewards! All your accumulated pending Props will convert to Paltalk rewards. Every rewarded action on Paltalk that previously earned Props will now earn Paltalk Rewards Points. 

We will go live with the new Paltalk Rewards program on October 15th, 2021 at which time we will stop rewarding Pending Props and begin awarding Paltalk Rewards Points.  You will still be able to convert your Pending Props into Props tokens until December 11, 2021.

There will be a lot to look forward to about the new Paltalk Rewards program such as earning exclusive stickers, long term flair, and even Paltalk Credits! We are very excited about the new Paltalk Rewards program and think you will love it too!

Can I keep earning Props?

Only until October 15, 2021. But don’t worry – at that time, all your Props will convert into Paltalk Rewards Points which will unlock cool new rewards for you to enjoy on Paltalk!

But, what about my streaks?

Keep on streaking! We know our members love building up high streaks – some members have streaks of 366 and higher – Your streaks are not going anyplace.

Do I get to keep the rewards I’ve earned?

Yep, no takebacks! We will ensure that nobody loses out on any rewards they have received via Props on Paltalk.

Do you plan to replace Props with another reward system?

Yes, the new Paltalk Rewards program will launch on October 15, 2021 and be an improved version of the Props system featuring new rewards to earn for being an awesome Paltalk user!
